【June 4, 2020】Regarding the University’s handling of COVID-19 infections

<IMPORTANT>
To all current clients and those who are considering counseling
at the Harassment Counseling Center

In order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infections on campus, the Harassment Counseling
Center (HCC) at the University of Tokyo will sustain the following reduction in business
operations for the time being:

  • All of the HCC Counseling Rooms in Hongo, Komaba and Kashiwa remain closed.
  • We are currently not conducting in-person, face-to-face meetings until further
notice. All of our counseling and consultation sessions are currently conducted by
      email, phone and/or Zoom meetings.

We are currently not accepting appointments and/or inquiries by phone. Please
contact us via the HCC’s Online Form.

We will reply to emails in the order received. We ask for your patience at this time.

Should there be any changes in our counseling systems and/or related duties in the future,
we will update the information on this website.

To all UTokyo members

Our academic community is currently facing unprecedented challenges due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Regardless of our positions- whether we are students, faculty or staff- we are all in this together. It is our sincere hope that we remain vigilant, support one another and protect our daily lives by taking good care of ourselves.

Towards a "Harassment-free Campus"

When you get this feeling of discomfort,
that is your "safety sensor" working.

We will work together with you.
